New York is an amazing contradiction of the old and the new. A financial hub of the world, it is bristling with modern American culture, art and technology. However, due to its' heritage, there are times when it also seems like you have taken a step back in time. This black and white photo illustrates how something can appear both new and old simultaneously, with the contrast of the modern street-scene, set against the backdrop of vintage architecture.
